An Editing Journey

I want to share one of my recent work and some of the words of gratification that I received.

It was a pleasure to be part of this journey.

Dear Moy,

It was an ardent journey to publish my memoirs. I ventured into an unknown domain. I wrote the manuscript, I had many photos, all sizes, some damaged, some dating to 1895.

What now?

I consulted Pauline Pankofsky of Associated Hebrew Schools, how to proceed. The school recently published a 100 year anniversary book of which you were the graphic designer. I am greatly indebted to her for referring me to you, to take over the production of my book. I had the good fortune that you were available to undertake this project. Words fail me to express my gratitude to you. A job well done is an understatement. I’ve been receiving wonderful feedback from everyone who received the book. It is the reproduction of the old photos that everyone admires.

Wishing you success in all your future endeavors. I remain gratefully yours,

Gerda Freiberg M.S.M.

“All survivors are witnesses. Their testimonies are invaluable and irreplaceable.
This also applies to Gerda Frieberg’s memoir. Written with sensitivity and
conviction, it deserves to be read by all those who believe that what we so
poorly call the Holocaust must be remembered.”
Elie Wiesel
